Nicola Tesla once said, “If you wish to understand the Universe, think of vibration, frequency and energy.” Come and join The Institute of Physics for a prelude to the postponed, Physics of Music day with Chetham’s School and Salford Acoustics. Hear how Pythagoras placed the ideas of tone and frequency in a mathematical framework. See some great demonstrations for teaching waves and oscillations to students of all ages. Gain some new stories to engage your students in the topic of magnetism with model guitar pickups and so much more.
