A full day of free physics CPD from the Stimulating Physics Network and the IOP Teacher Network. The conference is free for anyone who teaches physics at any level or who is interested in physics education. The costs for the conference including lunch and refreshments are met by the IOP and Daresbury Laboratory kindly hosts the event, making the entire event free to attend.

13:10 – 14.10 Workshop 2 (GCSE physics practicals, What makes good CPD?; Daresbury General Tour; Electricity and magnetism; Rocket launchers Make and Take part 2)

14:15 – 15:15 Workshop 3 (GCSE physics practicals; Daresbury Specialist Tour; Increasing the number of girls to number of boys to get the right number of physicists; Rope and pizza models of electric circuits; Bringing the Universe into the classroom)
