Following the success of our ‘Sharing Stories of Women in Physics’, the NW IOP Education team is excited to be working with The Blackett Lab Family to continue promoting underrepresented groups in physics. In this session, the focus will shift towards the contributions of Black physicists and the strategies we can implement to address underrepresentation in the physics curriculum.
We’ll be looking to:
- Understand the need for diverse voices in the curriculum
- Discover and celebrate the prominent Black women and men in physics
- Develop strategies to incorporate diversity, without the tokenism
Please join us for this thought provoking session.
