Everyone Coaching Physics

The IOP’s Professional Practice Group warmly invites you to discuss ideas and best practice in coaching physics. We’ll also have a closer look at how the most recent education research relates to physics teaching and learning. If you support at least one other human in their quest to become a better physics teacher – these sessions are for you.

Who is this session suitable for?

  • CPD leaders across MATs and other organisations
  • Lone physics teachers supporting the rest of the department, including mentors
  • Supporters of early career teachers in SCITTs or universities

Last year, we had some fantastic discussions alongside the release of our DOMAINS CPD videos https://spark.iop.org/iop-domains-physics-cpd-programme. These videos are approx. 10 mins long and ideal for you to use for developing teachers, especially remotely.

Sessions are at both 5pm and 7pm to fit in with travel and caring commitments.  Click on the times in the table below to register for each session that you would like to attend.
