This will be a hands-on workshop based around pressure in gasses as part of the molecules and
matter topic, and liquid pressure. You will be given the opportunity to explore a range of
demonstrations, practicals and activities within the context of the physics curriculum.
The session will provide an opportunity to explore new and familiar techniques in a hands-on way
to develop an understanding of how these topics can be made relevant and taught effectively.
There will also be a Q&A session on Nuclear Physics to include the safe handling and
demonstrating of radioactive sources.
Ideal for non-specialists and early career teachers, but experienced physicists might pick up new ideas too!
