Session Objectives
You will know the approach to teaching energy has changed considerably over the last few years. These sessions will guide you through the current thinking about how we use the concept of energy, and ways to apply this in your own teaching. Whatever your level of understanding of the “stores” approach, the sessions will help you in the classroom application of the approach.

Colleagues may wish to indicate specific issues that they would like to discuss using the “additional requirements” box when booking.

Who is this event suitable for?
This event is for all teachers of physics. This event will cover key areas within the secondary physics curriculum. The session will be based on the new IOP energy videos which will be released from 9 November 2020 on the IOPSpark website at https://spark.iop.org/iop-domains-physics-cpd-programme . Experienced IOP coaches will host the session and will be there to expand on the content, answer your questions and provide support.
