Recently, the incredible flight of the Mars helicopter is a reminder that the physics we teach, and learn, in our earthbound classrooms applies everywhere. In this session, we’ll be looking at many different examples, and videos, that can be used to show the universality of physics.

We will also reflect on the newly released DOMAINS CPD videos on Space. In particular, we recommend you view the video ’14-16 Physics of the Moon’. Colleagues may wish to indicate specific issues that they would like to discuss using the “additional requirements” box when booking to attend. Please feel free to bring along any questions you have.

Who is this event suitable for?
This event is for all those teaching KS3 and KS4 physics and will cover key areas within the secondary physics curriculum. The session will be based on the new DOMAINS CPD videos on Space.

Experienced IOP coach Graham Perrin from the North West regional team will host the session and will be there to expand on the content, answer your questions and provide support.
