This session is part of the IOP DOMAINS online CPD programme and covers aspects of the light, sound and waves domain. We’ll be exploring the frequent misconceptions some of our students might have about waves and discussing some useful models to develop their understanding. Tune in to explore some of the key words and phrases used in this topic as well as looking at how to hit the right note in your teaching of sound waves and hearing.
We would also encourage you to have a look at some of the DOMAINS CPD videos on waves which together with these live online CPD sessions, form the IOP DOMAINS online CPD programme.
If there any specific issues that you would like to discuss during the session, please list them in the “additional requirements” box when booking to attend and we will do our best to address them. Alternatively, please feel free to bring along any questions you have.
