Sound, light and waves can be tricky topics to teach; the wave nature of sound is a difficult one for learners to understand and it is even harder for light. These sessions will give you lots of teaching tools and a better understanding of the concepts and pedagogy associated with teaching waves.
Who is this event suitable for?
This event is suitable for all early career science teachers, whatever your specialist subject. This event will focus on content and skills needed for those early in their careers. The session will be based on the videos for this topic; links to these videos can be found on the IOPSpark, our resources website at https://spark.iop.org/waves-cpd-videos.
Experienced IOP coaches will host the session and will be there to expand on the content, answer your questions and provide support.
This is a regional event. We welcome colleagues from other regions, but priority will be given to colleagues from this region.
