Session Objectives
Sound, light and waves can be tricky topics to teach; the wave nature of sound is a difficult one for learners to understand and it is even harder for light. These sessions will give you lots of teaching tools and a better understanding of the concepts and pedagogy associated with teaching waves.

Please note – for the lunchtime “drop-in” session you are free to come when, and for how long, suits your school arrangements.  You will be able to ask questions and compare notes with other teachers

Who is this event suitable for?
This event is for all teachers of physics. This event will cover key areas within the secondary physics curriculum. The session will be based on the videos for this topic; links to these videos can be found on the IOPSpark, our resources website at https://spark.iop.org/waves-cpd-videos.

Experienced IOP coaches will host this drop-in session and will be there to expand on the content, answer your questions and provide support.
