This session is part of the IOP DOMAINS online CPD programme. With the exception of some advanced maths not covered at GCSE we tend to assume our Post-16 students are competent in the more basic maths skills. This is often not the case. In this session we will look at some of the techniques that can be inserted into every lesson to help students develop into competent problem solvers.

We will also reflect on some of the Post-16 DOMAINS CPD videos and would encourage you to watch some before the session if you can. If there any specific issues that you would like to discuss during the session, please list them in the “additional requirements” box when booking to attend and we will do our best to address them.  Alternatively, please feel free to bring along any questions you have.

Who is this event suitable for?
This event is for all those teaching KS5, or age range 16+, physics and will cover key areas within the secondary and post-16 physics curriculum.

Experienced IOP coach David Farley from the North West regional team will host the session and will be there to expand on the content, answer your questions and provide support.
