This session is part of the IOP DOMAINS online CPD programme and covers aspects of the quantum and nuclear domains.  The session will look at ways to teach some of the more difficult concepts with the AQA nuclear physics option and will include; nuclear radius, nuclear stability and binding energy.  Concepts will be illustrated with worked examples as well as hints and tips for helping students grasp some of these difficult concepts. 

We would also encourage you to have a look at some of the Post-16 DOMAINS CPD videos which together with these live online CPD sessions, form the IOP DOMAINS online CPD programme.

Who is this event suitable for?
This event is for all those teaching KS5, or age range 16+, physics and will cover key areas within the post-16 physics curriculum.

Experienced IOP coach David Farley from the North West regional team will host the session and will be there to expand on the content, answer your questions and provide support.
