The Maths on Monday Series will cover a range of topics of use to all teachers of science who teach the physics component of GCSE science.
Session 06: Units and Quantities (Liz Nourshargh)
Power or wattage? ampage or current? If your students sometimes muddle Physics units and quantities, come along to Maths on Mondays on 7th December. We will look at the difference between units and quantities and show how a better understanding of Physics units can help when tackling calculation questions.
This session will last for 1 hour, with 45 minutes for the main presentation and 15 minutes for questions.
Next session: xx January 2021 – Vectors: adding and resolving with Mark Whalley
