Want an alternative to practical activities and investigations? Students not excited about science from distance learning? Then using simulations such as Phet may help you. Phet is a free website that has hundreds of science (and math) simulations that can be run on most devices. We will explore the uses of some of these simulations to help classroom-based learning, as well as ideas for distance learning, including some specific examples on tough physics topics.
The session is suitable for all teachers from experienced physics teachers needing a reminder of how simulations can be useful in lesson, to less experienced no specialists who have never used simulations in their lessons before.
A link to the session will be sent to you in advance of the event.
