Getting pupils in the early secondary years to appreciate that sound does take time to travel is the starting point for this session. It will then explore various ways in which pupils can measure the speed of sound. From very simple experiments suitable for early secondary pupils through to more complex methods involving resonance suitable for post 16 pupils there will be something for everyone in this session.
