VPLab already consists of 401 interactive experiments and there are more on the way. The suite is used by thousands of teachers and students on 5 continents. Originally made by John Nunn of the National Physics Laboratory for use in schools in Africa. It was a project to run on computers in remote locations with no internet. This session will show some of the simulations. Several of the sims / experiments can be linked to the GCSE Required Practicals. Examples will be shown of student’s work produced using the simulations.

Attending teachers will receive a licensed version of VPLab. Once registered you will be sent periodic updates including any new experiments John has added. You can visit the VPLab web site here: http://www.vplab.co.uk

The session is aimed at all teachers who may not yet have heard about VPLab, an amazing suite of 380 interactive experiment simulations which can be used in both classroom teaching and with remote learning classes.

The session will be hosted by Dave Cotton who will take attendees through some of the sims, which can be used at Key stages 3-5 or ages ranges 11-14, 14-16 and 16-18 .
