This event is a follow-on event from that of 17 December 2020 where a brief summary of Cognitive Load Theory (CLT) was provided. Dylan Wiliam has stated that CLT is the single most important thing for a teacher to know. In this event parts of CLT will be explored in more depth, particularly how awareness of the Worked Example Effect can be used to improve teaching and learning.
