IOP Scotland CLPL: Properties of Matter in National 5 Physics

Event Information

5 November 2020
7:20 pm - 8:20 pm
Event categories:

In this event experienced IOPS Physics Coaches will cover the aspects of the Properties of Matter topic in National 5 Physics which cause pupils the greatest difficulties. Richard Feynman said the most important piece of scientific knowledge was that all things are made of atoms moving around in perpetual motion, attracting each other when they are a little distance apart, but repelling upon being squeezed into one another. This event will cover how to approach the difficulties some pupils experience understanding the Kinetic Model and applying it to everyday situations at N4 and N5 levels. It will also cover Properties of Matter topics that recent SQA course reports have identified as ones with which candidates have had particular difficulty.
