IOP Scotland CLPL: The Earth, Sun and Moon System – CfE Level 0 and 1 E&O – a NASA in Aberdeen workshop

This workshop will look at resources and activities for teaching about the Earth, Sun and Moon system in a primary school context. Activities include simple models and ways of easily investigating basic astronomical phenomena and patterns with young learners. As part of the NASA in Aberdeen 2020 project it will primarily use NASA materials to cover the benchmarks associated with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence Experiences and Outcomes 0-06a and 1-06a. This event is suitable for primary teachers of all experience levels. As such, there will be an extended Q&A opportunity for those interested to ask questions about any aspect of space or space teaching.

Registration for the event will close at lunchtime on the day of the event. Log-in details will be emailed to registered delegates on the day of the event. Please check junk mail folders if you have not received log-in details before the event. Contact [email protected] if you have a problem.

This the seventh in a series of space science online CLPL events produced and delivered as part of the NASA in Aberdeen project #inspiringthenextgeneration
