This half day event in Lincoln will be the first of 9 face-to-face sessions as part of the Subject Knowledge for Physics Teaching (SKPT)* course. In this session. we will be introducing the Forces module and using everyday physics to examine different types of forces and how to use force arrows to produce free body diagrams.
This event is only available for teachers who have registered onto the SKPT course. Please note: teachers who have enrolled onto the SKPT course in the Lincoln hub have been automatically booked onto this event.
* the SKPT course replaces TSST and is a substantial blended-learning course for science teachers within the English state sector who want to develop their physics subject knowledge and pedagogy. The course focuses on the core areas of Forces, Electricity and Energy and will be delivered over two terms from September 2021. SKPT is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) for eligible teachers in England. Further details on how to register onto the SKPT course can be found here.
