This session is aimed at specialist and non-specialist Physics teachers, teaching Physics to KS4 (and KS5). The first half of the session will be looking at using the online (free) product, IsaacPhysics; how to create groups, set assignments, view marks and ways it can be embedded in the KS4 curriculum (as well as uses at KS5 if relevant). The second half of the session will be spent reviewing methods for three of the required practicals from the GCSE specifications. As well as looking at setting these up and running with students, we will discuss the kinds of questions that may be asked in the new-style GCSE papers.
This workshop will start at 10:00 and finish at 13:00. Refreshments will be available in a break between the two sessions.
