Are you a recently qualified teacher at the beginning of your KS5 teaching career or a non-specialist looking to improve your subject knowledge to enable you to teach KS5? Maybe you are an experienced A-level physics teacher looking for some new ideas for your KS5 lessons? We will focus on fields and gases in this session.

This FREE A-level Physics CPD day will give you an opportunity to try out a range of practical strategies and demos’ which you can immediately take back to your classroom and share with your colleagues. In addition to the two practical sessions, the day includes a Maths for Physics session in which you will learn the differences between the teaching of A-level Maths compared with A-level Physics. This will give you the knowledge and experience to know when and how the maths that students need to become successful physicists, is taught. The day will also be a great opportunity to network with other A-level Physics teachers in the region.
