The best way to enthuse students about a topic is with hands on activity. This session is aimed at building working examples of electromagnetic devices including motors and loudspeakers so that students get a better feel for the topic of electromagnetism at GCSE level. Some of the models will be built using commercially available kits, and some will be simple DIY. The idea is that participants leave confident that they can make models that work.

This session is an open session aimed at any teacher who may teach electromagnetism at GCSE. Refreshments are available upon arrival.
