In this session we will be looking at maths in physics and how to teach it. Specifically:
The mathematical ability of pupils is often a barrier to their greater understanding of physics. This workshop will look at ways to help children overcome this barrier and how they can transfer their skills in maths lessons over to the physics lab. Hints, tips, and practical classroom ideas to help make the maths in physics lessons more accessible.
The session is free of charge and led by Shane Clark, an IoP School based Physics Coach, based at Cheney school, Oxford.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided upon arrival.
