Electric motors are widely used in our everyday lives from small ones in toothbrushes to larger ones in washing machines. The surge in popularity of electric cars adds a significant new dimension. How do they work and what is the Physics involved? This workshop shows many connections between the Physics learned at school and today’s electric cars.
