Join Alessio in this live webinar on pressure in fluids. In this workshop we will explore nice demonstrations and experiments students could do at home to learn about pressure in fluids. As part of the webinar you will be building your own Pythagoras’ cup and you will be able to explain how it works to your students. This and other useful teaching tools and ideas will help your students understand this fascinating topic in an engaging and hands-on way.
Please prepare the following equipment before the event:
– Empty plastic bottle (or a paper or plastic cup)
– Plasticine or blue-tack
– Straw (ideally bendy – if bendy is not available you can use a small test tube and a straight straw)
– Jug of water
– Glass or bowl
The webinar will be carried out on Zoom and you will receive an email with the joining details once you book your place to this event.
Bookings are closed for this event.
