Following the success of last year’s event, the Canterbury Regional CPD Day is returning in March 2019! All are welcome to this full – and FREE – day of training and workshops for all teachers of physics (whether a specialist or not) and trainees.
The day is run, organised and funded by the IOP’s Stimulating Physics Network and Physics Partners.
Lunch and refreshments provided.
There will be 4 sessions, each with 4 workshops to choose from when you book, with topics from Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, lots of hands-on practical activities and new teaching ideas, all delivered by expert physics teacher trainers, plus a chance to network with colleagues from across the region. Whilst the programme will primarily designed with teachers in mind, technicians may benefit from the more practical workshops.
