Event Information
This event is a FREE workshop for any teachers of Science in the Scarborough area.
This session will focus on developing teacher confidence with teaching Electricity topics – at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
There will be an opportunity to discuss and try electricity practicals – including some tips for getting electricity practicals to actually work, and some different approaches to circuit building to try with your students.
This workshop is the first of a series of workshops throughout the year covering topics that have been requested – Electricity, Forces, Energy (stores and transfers), Electromagnetism etc.
This workshop will run as a ‘drop-in’ session from 4pm, with the main workshop taking place between 4.30-5.30 – allowing a ‘soft start’ as people arrive from 4pm (plenty of things to look at and do from 4.00-4.30), with the main session finishing at 5.30pm and activities/discussion continuing until 6pm for those who are able to stay.
