This popular CPD day taking place at St Luke Campus, University of Exeter, features a mix of practical workshops, inspiring talks and congenial networking. All teachers of physics, technicians and trainees are welcome. Sessions will include ideas for those new to physics teaching as well as the more experienced, with stimulating material for use in your labs and classrooms with ages 11 upwards.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Registration from 9.15am.

Expected outcomes:
Explore novel resources for teaching and supporting physics in the classroom
Experience curriculum-focused activities that raise motivation and attainment
Expand your understanding of some of the latest progress in physics
Exchange ideas and best practice with colleagues

Workshops are run by IOP Physics Network Coordinators, SPN Teaching and Learning Coaches and other experienced presenters. References & resources will be distributed as appropriate, or made available e.g. via dropbox after the Conference day.
