Registrations are now open for the 2018 Second Year York Summer School.

What Happens on this Programme?

The second year programme builds on the foundations laid in the first year course and introduces new topics including radioactivity, momentum and electromagnetism.

Eligibility

This Summer School is for teachers at Stimulating Physics Network schools whose specialism is not physics.

If you’ve attended the First Year previously, then this Second Year course is for you. If you’re new to our Summer Schools, take a look at our First Year programmes.

It’s Free

As we’re funded by the DfE, these courses are at no cost to you. We provide meals and accommodation and you may be entitled to have travel expenses reimbursed from the Enthuse Award.

Before Registering

*Please make sure you read the York Terms and Conditions  for attending this summer school. By registering for a place, you are confirming that you have read and agreed to these.*

NB. As your registration also involves the acceptance of funding from STEM Learning Limited’s National STEM Learning Centre, the Institute will be entitled to share your personal details with them where required to process your funding application.
