The institute of Physics is working with the Historical Association to develop online resources as part of the RAF’s centenary programme in 2018. These resources are aimed primarily for secondary schools, and are based on the history of the RAF and the way in which it has used technology. They are free to download, and there are competitions for pupils to enter. See http://raf100schools.org.uk/

Our lively workshop will allow teachers to get some hands-on experience with the STEM material and experience some of the fascinating demonstrations that have been developed, and to see the accompanying videos produced by the Historical Association. Science teachers are welcome to bring their historian colleagues along.
