Energy is a key area of physics and poses a range of challenges, from understanding and teaching the idea of energy stores and pathways, through to negotiating the content of GCSE and the required practical.
In this session colleagues will look at stores and pathways by considering some hands-on examples that can be used in the classroom, and will have the chance to access some useful resources that will help them in their teaching of the topic. In addition we will look at the Specific Heat Capacity Required Practical and help colleagues gain confidence in delivering this key area of the GCSE course.
There will be plenty of opportunities to raise questions and concerns, as well as sharing ideas and best practice.
