This will enable wider access – for example to mentors in schools. 26 January 2010 at 16:48 #25008 And some find them “much better” 9 September 2010 at 15:51 #25009 “The files and their contents are not to be redistributed using any medium” “You are free to encourage any other teachers of physics to get their own copy from here” Does this mean each colleague has to download 1.6 GB separately? 9 September 2010 at 16:43 #25010 What it certainly means is that they cannot put them on a public website /torrent / etc. The advantage of coming to this place to get them links them in to a place where they will be supported and know where to find updates. BTW. 1.6 G is rather less than the average film (or say ~2 iPlayer episodes), and there are many more hours of entertainment in these….so why is such a one-off download such a big deal? Even in the sticks, on 2M broadband, you just walk away and do some weeding, and then come back and it’s done… 14 September 2010 at 09:14 #25011 Due to updates on the TP site, you no longer need to join the groups to download the resources, but the groups are still there for updates and for support.
