I was playing with our stroboscope on Friday. It has a bright, bluish lamp and wandered if it might be a neon bulb? Any thoughts? It seemed to create the same kind of smell as a UV sun lamp while on. Ozone?
I asked Simon Breare but he couldnt help. Maybe you could look at it when you next visit. If it is a single element lamp (or whatever they are called) could we look at its emmission spectrum using a spectroscope?
