  I think these are run at run a number of locations across the country, but this one is certainly good.

  Good one for Advancing Physics syllabus (Materials topic and coursework) is The Building Research Establishment in Watford. (BRE) They do a half day session for Built Environment Diploma students but this is suitable for AS too. The tour of the Innovation Park show homes is the highlight.
