Talking Physics

I am off to the Liverpool Physics Teachers Conference to present some physics demonstrations tomorrow and am looking forward to showing a few new magnetism ones.

I have added to the forum about toys and games in physics.
We have an IOP Physics Games Workshop and I have added a couple of the games.

The game called Polarity has circular magnets that stack. I have been experimenting with things I could do with the fields of them.

 

 

I have managed to arrange a circle of magnet stacks

 

I have secured the inner stack and placed the other magnets on a surface with some friction
